Who it’s for › Life groups
Software for life groups, community groups, and men’s and women’s groups
The short answer: Synodo gives every life group the same study, a leaders-only guide for each meeting, attendance that flags who is drifting, and one place for the group’s conversation, while the church sees every group at once.
What do life group leaders need each week?
Four things: what the group is studying, their own preparation for the meeting, a way to reach everyone, and a sense of who has gone missing. In Synodo each meeting has a Member Guide everyone sees and a Leader Guide only leaders see, the group’s messages sit alongside them, and anyone who has missed two meetings in a row is put in front of the leader with the reason.
How do you give every group the same study but let each one adapt it?
Write the study once and every group gets its own copy. Leaders tailor their copy for their group, and when the church improves the original, a resync brings the changes in without wiping what the leader changed.
How do members stay connected between meetings?
In one thread per group, next to the study rather than in a separate chat. Prayer requests, photos, polls, meal sign-ups and RSVPs live there, members get push notifications on their phone or computer, and the meeting reminder goes out the day before on its own.
How do you run men’s and women’s groups alongside mixed groups?
Tag each study for the kinds of group it suits, in your church’s own words. A men’s group is offered the studies tagged for men’s groups, a study with no tag is offered to every group, and leaders choose from the shelf the church has approved.
What does it cost for a church with 40 groups?
The same as for a church with four: $49 a month per church, for unlimited groups and people. It starts with a free trial and needs no card to look around a sample church.
